During the first year I took Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Histology.
When it comes to the scholastic side of medicine, nothing’s really challenging or hard to comprehend, it’s only about which one requires more memorizing besides other factors, like which one you like the most.
Physiology is kind of the biggest/hardest of all, but I like it, so it was kind of smooth, despite the fact that it sucked the sleep out of my eyes before the final test.
Biochem was the easiest, but this changes radically in the second year. I loathe it now.
Anatomy was okay, lots of memorizing but with a good technique it’ll go down smoothly.
Histology IMO was the hardest. Lots of tiring blind memorizing and you’ll often find it useless, so you won’t have that much motivation to begin with.
Hope I helped. Cheers!
