A 19 year old Egyptian medical student with a passion for philosophy, nature and music. I hope to find peace within myself. I yearn to find a far better understanding of our vast universe, I find it so puzzling yet so admirable. I acknowledge my ignorance, for this is the only way I could ever learn anything. If I have the motivation, I'm a tireless seeker of knowledge. I can be both emotional and logical. I consider myself skeptic. Perfectionist. I believe in a subjective world, your beliefs do not matter to me as long as you don't shove them down my throat.

Listening to music is not merely something I do just to fill the void, whenever I felt down or full of joy, music has always been my companion.

what are the things you take in first year medicine?? and which are the most challenging

During the first year I took Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Histology.

When it comes to the scholastic side of medicine, nothing’s really challenging or hard to comprehend, it’s only about which one requires more memorizing besides other factors, like which one you like the most.

Physiology is kind of the biggest/hardest of all, but I like it, so it was kind of smooth, despite the fact that it sucked the sleep out of my eyes before the final test.

Biochem was the easiest, but this changes radically in the second year. I loathe it now.

Anatomy was okay, lots of memorizing but with a good technique it’ll go down smoothly.

Histology IMO was the hardest. Lots of tiring blind memorizing and you’ll often find it useless, so you won’t have that much motivation to begin with.

Hope I helped. Cheers!

With all my knowledge and intrusion, I could never entirely predict you. I can feed the caterpillar, and I can whisper through the chrysalis, but what hatches follow its own nature and is beyond me.
